TINA RUGGIERO, M.S., R.D., L.D.
As a Registered Dietitian, Tina Ruggiero knows the importance of starting children on a lifelong path to healthy, nutritious eating. Fondly known as The Gourmet Nutritionist, Tina is the nutrition correspondent for NBC’s syndicated television show, Daytime, seen regularly by millions of viewers around the country. Her articles and interviews have appeared in magazines such as Family, Men’s Health, Richard Simmons’ Newsletter and First for Women. Tina’s blog, voiceofreason.net, attracts readers worldwide who are interested in her unique perspectives about food issues, healthy eating, cooking and nutrition, and it’s often cited in magazines, newspapers and online for its reliable, accurate and inspiring content.

As the president and founder of Nutrition Dialog, her own nutrition consulting firm, Tina offers expert spokesperson capabilities, media relations, writing and recipe development services to corporate clients and provides private clients with solutions for weight loss, disease management and other nutrition concerns.

In addition to being a spokeswoman for Driscoll’s berries, Tina is also a contributor to FOX-13, a pioneer in broadcast television since 1955. 

Tina began her career at the prestigious University Hospitals of Cleveland and has served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Chicago. She is an active member of the American Dietetic Association and the International Association of Culinary Professionals. She earned her Bachelor of Science with honors from New York University and her Masters of Science and R.D. from Case Western Reserve University.

KARIN KNIGHT, R.N.
Karin Knight finds joy in caring and has a passion for cooking. A Registered Nurse for more than 25 years, her extensive background includes experience as a registered pediatric nurse and previously as a public health nurse. She has performed nursing duties in neuro medical, pediatric intensive care, surgical, orthopedic, operating room and hospice.

Karin is the author of a number of successful cookbooks such as 1.2.3. Cook for Me and The Baby Cookbook, in addition to having authored several Saveur Magazine articles. Her first book, The Baby Cookbook, won 3rd prize at the Montana Institute of The Arts in 1986. She has made multiple TV appearances on The Today Show, CNN, Good Morning Los Angeles, as well as many local Montana shows.

Karin has been a chef for major film festivals, committees and fundraisers, such as The University of Montana Film Centenary Committee and the Montana Five Rivers Festival of Film. She planned and catered dinners for major producers, directors and other film industry luminaries, such as Deborah Di Sabatino, Chef Greg Patent and Chef Christine Staggs. She was born in Norway and now lives with her husband in Missoula, Montana.
